ALLMI has recently held elections for the positions on its Board of Directors. Mark Rigby of T H White retained his position as Chairman for a fifth consecutive term, with Lee Maynard of Terex Atlas and Ismo Leppanen of Cargotec also being appointed to the Board. The ALLMI Board is now made up of the following people: Mark Rigby – Chairman (T H White), Tom Wakefield (ALLMI), Alan Johnson (ALLMI), Steve Frazer-Brown – Operators’ Forum representative (David Watson Transport), Ismo Leppanen (Cargotec), Lee Maynard (Terex Atlas), Andrew Taylor – Company Secretary (Terex Atlas). Elections have also taken place within the ALLMI Operators’ Forum, with Steve Frazer-Brown of David Watson Transport being appointed as Forum Chairman for a fifth consecutive term. As a founder member of the Forum and having played a leading role in its operations over the last four years, Steve is looking forward to continuing with the challenge. He comments “the Forum has made excellent progress since its formation four years ago and we look forward to building upon its achievements. We’ll continue to improve standards amongst lorry loader operators whilst expanding Forum membership even further and ensuring that ALLMI maintains its high profile within the industry.” Positions on the Forum Executive Committee were also up for election with the results seeing all current Committee members retaining their places. The Forum Executive Committee consists of: Ian Berrill (Saint Gobain Building Distribution), Brian Sutherland (Elliott Hire), Peter Duckett (WTB Group), John Allum (Allum Plant Hire), Bob Toon (Gatwick Group), Andrew Hollingsworth (Travis Perkins). |
